01 The brief

Two bathrooms, one consistent home

The owners wanted both bathrooms brought up to date in one project. The two rooms needed to feel like they belong to the same home, while still suiting their different jobs: a quick, efficient ensuite and a comfortable family bathroom.

Behind the finishes, both rooms got proper substrate preparation, plumbing adjustments and an upgraded waterproofing system to Australian Standards.

02 The ensuite

Marble-look tiles and brushed brass

Large-format marble-look porcelain covers the ensuite walls and floor, keeping grout lines to a minimum so the compact room feels open and seamless.

The standout is a frameless glass shower with brushed brass hardware, matched by brass tapware and a rail shower. A recessed niche gives built-in storage without breaking the tile lines, and a sleek vanity with brass handles completes the look.

03 The main bathroom

Warm timber, crisp black, plenty of light

In the main bathroom, a built-in bath with a fully tiled surround sits beneath a frosted window that lets in natural light while keeping privacy. Beside it, a black-trimmed glass shower has its own patterned tile niche, and light grey matte porcelain on the floor is durable and slip resistant.
