01 The design

Stone-look porcelain and matte black

Large-format stone-look porcelain runs across the floors and walls of this Pimpama bathroom, with full-height tiling in the wet areas for fewer grout lines and a seamless look. A walk-in shower behind frameless glass keeps the room open and full of light, with a long recessed niche built into the tiled wall.

A freestanding white bath sits beneath the window, and custom mirror cabinetry above the vanity adds storage without crowding the room.

02 The details

A vanity built to stand out

The custom timber-look vanity carries an engineered stone benchtop with subtle marble veining, topped with a matte black above-counter basin and a matching black mixer. Matte black shower controls and accessories repeat the contrast across the room.

Behind the finishes, the substrate, drainage and waterproofing were done to Australian Standards so the bathroom performs as well as it looks. See more of our bathroom renovations on the Gold Coast.
