01 The brief
Open living on a 10m frontage
The family wanted a modern home in Banyo that did not feel limited by a narrow block. The floor plan was crafted to open up straight away, with a wide entry and hallway that set the tone the moment the front door swings open.
A smart entry door lock adds everyday convenience from day one.

Kitchen, living and dining as one
Downstairs, the kitchen, living and dining areas share one open space with warm timber-look floors and 2.7m ceilings. Corner sliding doors open the living room right up to the covered outdoor area and backyard.

Herringbone and 14mm stone
The kitchen is the showpiece: 14mm stone benchtops, a herringbone tiled splashback, timber-look overhead cabinetry and generous storage, laid out for entertaining.
From the island, timber stairs with glass railings rise to the upper level, keeping the whole ground floor light and connected.
