Project Overview

This bathroom renovation in Logan was designed to transform an outdated space into a bright, functional, and modern bathroom that feels both spacious and easy to maintain.

The layout was carefully planned to maximise usability within a compact footprint. A walk-in shower with frameless glass was introduced to open up the space visually, allowing natural light from the window to flow throughout the room. A recessed shower niche provides practical built-in storage while maintaining clean, uncluttered lines.

A freestanding back-to-wall bathtub was positioned beneath the window, creating a relaxing focal point while making efficient use of the available space. This placement enhances both comfort and functionality without overcrowding the layout.

Large format porcelain tiles were selected for the walls to create a seamless, modern finish with minimal grout lines. These are paired with terrazzo-style porcelain floor tiles, adding subtle texture and durability while maintaining a cohesive, neutral colour palette.

A floating timber-look vanity introduces warmth into the space, balancing the cooler tones of the tiles. The above-counter vessel basin and chrome tapware provide a clean and contemporary finish, while the wall-mounted LED backlit arched mirror adds both functionality and a soft ambient glow.

Behind the finishes, proper substrate preparation and waterproofing were prioritised to ensure long-term durability and full compliance with Australian building standards.

For homeowners considering bathroom renovations in Logan, this Tanah Merah project demonstrates how thoughtful design, smart material selection, and quality construction can transform a standard bathroom into a modern, practical space that adds lasting value.

The completed result is brighter, more functional, and built for everyday living.
