Custom Home Build Flagstone

The owners wanted four bedrooms, more than one living area, three full bathrooms, a powder room and a double garage, all on a 375m² block in Flagstone. That brief only works when every square metre of the plan is put to use.

HEW Projects designed the home around clear circulation and natural light, so all of it fits without the rooms feeling squeezed. A long entry hall with recessed wall niches leads from the front door into the living zones.

The kitchen pairs timber-look cabinetry with a stone island that wraps into a waterfall end, a gas cooktop, a wall oven and a pot filler over the cooktop. LED strip lighting under the overhead cabinets washes the splashback with light, with LED downlights and gold pendants above.

Behind it, a walk-in pantry with open shelving and its own bench and window keeps everyday clutter out of sight.

Externally, dark firebrick walls were chosen for durability, strength and low maintenance, set off by rendered piers, a timber-look feature panel and a matching garage door. A covered alfresco under the main roof gives the family a sheltered space outside.

It is a practical example of what a custom home builder in Flagstone can deliver on a smaller Logan block: a fully featured family home with nothing left off the list.
