This custom home build in Flagstone was designed to achieve maximum functionality within a 375sqm block, proving that smart design can deliver generous living without requiring a large footprint.
The homeowners wanted four bedrooms, multiple living areas, three full bathrooms, a powder room, and a double garage. Through careful planning and layout optimisation, HEW Projects delivered all requested features while maintaining flow, natural light, and practical circulation throughout the home.
The 2.7 metre high ceilings play a major role in enhancing the sense of space, allowing rooms to feel open and airy. LED downlights were installed throughout to provide consistent lighting, complemented by LED strip lighting under kitchen cabinetry for a modern, layered lighting effect.
Bathrooms were finished with full height wall tiling and large format 600x600mm porcelain tiles, creating a clean, cohesive look while improving durability and ease of maintenance. Ceiling niches add subtle architectural detail that elevates the overall finish.
Externally, firebrick walls were selected for their durability, structural strength, and low maintenance benefits, ensuring the home performs as well as it looks.
